Despite the country’s Muslim majority, Al-Khidmat workers went around disinfecting a Hindu temple and a church. Now people are lauding the move by Jamaat-e-Islami’s welfare body.

While Muslims are still arguing the nuances of offering prayers from home, minorities such as Hindus and Christians have already evacuated all places of worship.

It’s a good thing they did so that the buildings could be disinfected as part of an anti-corona virus measure.

A lot more needs to be done

“Coronavirus is spreading in Pakistan due to the ignorance of religious clerics

While countries like Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Malaysia, and Egypt have banned congregational prayers amid the viral outbreak, Pakistan has not.
