Earlier this year, we had Amna Ilyas and Dawar Mehmood giving us subtle hints of a romance in-the-making. Despite the fact that the two have [very aggressively] turned down all the rumors, some fans are still secretly hoping they are a thing. And with the Baaji actress’s latest Instagram video, the public has all the more reasons to ship them together.
Amna Ilyas and Dawar Mehmood have been giving us ‘couple goals’ for a while now. Dawar was the director for the theatrical show Ankahi, which was Amna’s theatre debut as the leading lady. In September, the two of them uploaded a video on Instagram saying they were, in fact, not dating each other. While the video started off with Mehmood’s foul gestures, Amna Ilyas added:
Look, it’s very simple; I don’t have any boyfriend but he [Dawar] has a lot of girlfriends. The poor guy is getting death threats from all over Pakistan. So, please stop spreading rumors.
So that was it, all the fans’ expectations and hopes were thrown out the window, and we were 100% sure that the two are nothing more than friends… until last night. Amna Ilyas posted an adorable video of her on Instagram where she could be seen standing in front of the mirror and posing. What happened next shocked us all.
As the 33-year-old was making this video Dawar Mehmood walks by and kisses her on the cheek. Of course, we know this was a scripted video, and the fact that it was posted online is enough to prove it was meant to be seen by their fans. But netizens can’t stop going gaga over it now.
Tagging the theatre director, Amna added the caption:
When you’re making your insta video and WTH?!?!?!?!
