While many Bollywood newbies are using their family legacies to make it into the biz, Shahrukh Khan’s firstborn Aryan Khan took a different route.
Most people may not even have realized how unique his debut is. As the voice of Simba in the Hindi version of the live-action adaptation The Lion King.
Aryan Khan’s Simba Is Making Waves
Aryan Khan really scored big with the reboot of the Disney classic. With the splurge of animated films and heavily CGI’s and fantasy films stuff like Avatar and now The Lion King, voice acting might well be the future.
That is why SRK’s clan with Gauri, Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan, and their youngest Abhram Khan hit the town to celebrate Aryan’s debut.
The family had a quiet dinner to celebrate Aryan’s unique entry into movies. Previously he has debuted as a younger version of Shahrukh’s character in Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum.
Previously when asked if Aryan would follow the legacy of Bollywood’s Badshah, Shahrukh said that Aryan was interested in direction.
A unique take everyone thought, but Aryan Khan is making even more interesting career choices along the way.
Not The Only Voice Acting Credit So Far
The 20-year-old Khan has previously voiced Dash Parr from the 2008 film The Incredibles. Even then Shahrukh voiced ‘Mr. Incredible‘ aka Bob Parr in the Hindi rendition of the animated blockbuster.
In The Lion King voice-cast for the Hindi rendition, Aryan voices Simba while King Khan plays Mufasa.
Meanwhile, sister Suhana Khan is intent on carrying on an acting career like SRK. King Khan’s only daughter is currently in acting school. She does theater but both her parents want her to be well-prepped before diving into the industry.
Both Shahrukh and Gauri Khan are of the view that Suhana is not yet ready to make her debut in Bollywood.
