There are plenty of Bollywood stars that used their family name to get in.
One of the most obvious examples of this is the Kapoor family, who has a long lineage of talented actors. What started with Raj Kapoor, continued with Karishma and Kareena, the only two Kapoor ladies in the industry. And now they got their cousin Ranbir, who is having a moment with Sanju.
But they are not the only ones. We take a look at the most recent Bollywood stars who got their big break in the industry the same way, though its another matter that some of them have proven their mettle in B-Town:

1. Alia Bhatt
The daughter of Mahesh Butt and Soni Razdan has proved herself with projects like Udta Punjab, Highway, Dear Zindagi and Raazi.Â
It is not a coincidence that her costars in debut Student Of The Year, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan haven’t made it that far. Varun Dhawan is doing better, given he too enjoys an access card.
2. Varun Dhawan
Other than Dilwale, Sui Dhaga, ABCD 2, Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, all his films have been produced and/or directed by his father David Dhawan.
The actor gained a wider fan-base with Badlapur and October.
3. Janhvi Kapoor
The daughter of the late Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor debuted with Dhadak opposite Ishaan Khatter. The actress hasn’t signed any other project since then.
4. Sara Ali Khan
The daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh made her Bollywood debut with Kadarnath. She then bagged Simmba opposite Ranveer Singh.
5. Suhana Khan
King Khan has previously said that his daughter will make an entry into Bollywood when she’s ready. She is currently studying film in a university in the United States.
Her acting career has not started yet, however she was recently featured on the cover of Vogue.
