King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan’s eldest son Aryan Khan is all set to make his Bollywood debut as an assistant director. He will be handling directing duties for Karan Johar’s next movie.
He will assist Karan for his upcoming directorial ‘Takht.’
In his previous interviews, Karan has always said he would launch SRK’s kids into the industry. And now, with his upcoming movie, he is going to help Aryan find his footing in Bollywood.
Shah Rukh Khan has also suggested in a recent interview with Hindustan Times that his kids might follow his lead into the movie business.
What Direction Will SRK’s Kids Take in Bollywood
He indicated that Aryan was more interesting in film-making, while his daughter Sohana dreamed of being an actor.
Here’s what the King Khan said:
“Aryan is studying to be a film-maker and a writer, while Suhana wants to be an actor. To do so, he needs to study for another five to six years and not just the literal form of studying, but probably be an assistant to Karan after he finishes his film-making course.”
Karan’s Takht is a multi-starrer action drama about the Mughal era. The cast of the movie includes likes of Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in key roles.
With the screenplay from Sumit Roy, the movie will be produced by Hiroo Yash Johar & Apoorva Mehta under the banner of Dharma Productions. Takht will hit cinemas next year.
As far as his career in Bollywood goes, Aryan Khan has only made a cameo so far in Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, but he already has a massive fanbase on social media.
Aryan, who is studying film-making at the University of Southern California, keeps his fans updated with new pictures on social media.
