What About T-Series?

According to a news report, T-Series suffered a major loss of over one million followers on their YouTube channel following the ban on Atif Aslam and other Pakistani artists.

Atif Aslam said perhaps it was the love of fans that forced T-Series to reconsider its decision.

Here’s what Atif said:

The Bollywood ban has appeared often but I personally don’t know the reason for this – why I was taken off and was back on YouTube. My fan-following in Pakistan and India is huge, which can be gauged by the numbers. I feel that the fans responded to the ban in their own way..

Pakistani artists were banned from working in India following high tensions on the border between the two countries. As a retaliatory measure, other music and production companies, such as T-Series, had also decided to remove songs of Pakistani singers from their YouTube channel. Atif Aslam’s new release Baarishein was also removed at the time.
