The much-awaited Aurat March took place on March 8 to mark International Women’s Day. Like every year, women come out in numbers to fight for their basic rights with the mission to stop gender bias, inequality, and injustice against women, transgender, and non-binary people.
Much like last year, there have been attempts to ban the movement, calling it “Un-Islamic“, which only proves the bias and unfair treatment women are having to face everyday.
