Aside from Bulbulay, we haven’t seen Ayesha Omar star in any television drama for years now. Is there a reason behind this, or is the actress just not being offered more projects?
The National College of Arts (NCA) grad became a household name with the Pakistani sitcom “Bulbulay” in which she is appearing since 2009. Ayesha Omar has appeared in many serials and films since 2000. However, the diva has not starred in any drama serials other than Bulbulay over the past several years.
In her appearance on ‘Time Out With Ahsan Khan‘, the Karachi Sey Lahore actress finally answered the question as to why we don’t see her in any drama serials anymore. When the host fashionista shared that first of all, she was busy doing films and during the shooting for that, she was not allowed to do any other drama serial except Bulbulay.
Aside from that Ayesha Omar has also started her career as a brand ambassador. She launched her own organic skin-care line named ‘Ayesha.O.Beauty’ and she was busy with all that.
Then there’s also the problem of not being offered the kind of roles that she wants to do. The Yalghaar actress shared that she wanted to play an empowered character rather than a depressing one. So she was waiting for something like that.
So when will the Tanhai actress land a project like the one she has dreamed off so that we can see her come back on television?
