2019 has been a rollercoaster of a year when it comes to movies. There have been several blockbuster films this year that mesmerized cinema-goers. Can Hollywood movies for 2020 even compete with that?
The bar has been set pretty high in 2019. For instance, Marvel fans got Avengers: Endgame that has all the superhero action we could hope for. Not only that, the film even went one step further by breaking the world record for the highest-grossing film of all time, defeating James Cameron’s Avatar.
Aside from Endgame, we got the Joker film that exceeded all expectations. And if that wasn’t enough, Quentin Tarantino released his highly anticipated Once Upon A Time in Hollywood!
2019 has definitely set the bar high for next year, but don’t worry as these upcoming 2020 films are sure to stay with the 2019 trend. Better look out for these highly anticipated Hollywood movies for 2020:

Despite the outcome of Endgame (spoilers!) fans will finally get to see a Black Widow solo film! Directed by Cate Shortland, the MCU movies traces the origin of Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow. Wonder Woman 1984
The DCEU has had a rough time getting the formula right for its superhero universe. However, amongst the underwhelming Batman v Superman, Suicided Squad and Justice League, DCEU did a fantastic job in bringing Wonder Woman to the big screen. With Gal Gadot as the titular superhero, Wonder Woman was an instant box office success.
Fans can rejoice as the much-anticipated Wonder Woman sequel release date is set for June 2020. Titled Wonder Woman 1984, the film has a very ‘groovy’ 80s aesthetics and some jaw-dropping action sequences. Mulan
Keeping up with the trend of female-driven heroes, Disney fans can get hyped as the beloved princess Mulan gets a live-action remake! Directed by the Niki Caro and Mulan cast Liu Yifei in the titular role The stelllar cast includes Donnie Yen, Jet Li, and Liu Yifei, the film looks very promising. The story will be different from the original animated film but will have stunning cinematography and an empowering message.
The trailer has all action and visuals to attract new audiences as well as pull the strings of the original fans with the iconic score “Reflection” playing in the background. The Mulan release date is set for March, 25, 2020. Check it out:

No Time to Die
After a long and memorable stint as the iconic MI6 agent, Daniel Craig is retiring as James Bond. The upcoming film is Daniel Craig’s last appearance as James Bond. This one is purely a nostalgia trip for many Tom Cruise fans. The film that every Cruise fans loves to reference. Top Gun: Maverick release date is due for June 2020, the film is the much-anticipated sequel to Top Gun which released in 1985. That really adds a kick to the Hollywood movies 2020 line-up.
The trailer sees Tom’s character training a fresh group of Top Gun graduates. Top Gun: Maverick cast Miles Teller in a prominent role as one of those graduates.

Bad Boys for Life
Keeping in line with the trend of nostalgia, Hollywood superstar Will Smith and Martin Lawrence reprise their iconic roles as Detective Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett in the hugely anticipated Bad Boys For Life. Directed by Adil El Arbi, Bilall Fallah, the film is the third and final installment of the beloved Bad Boys trilogy.
The trailer sets the tone for things to expect as the two detectives team up to take down the bad guys once again. We won’t have to wait long for this one as the Bad Boys For Life release date is set for January 2020. Que the iconic “bad boys” theme and enjoy this trailer!
