Following an instance of vandalism and violence at the Nankana Sahib Gurdwara in Pakistan, the key suspect in the case has been arrested. Apparently some Bollywood stars also heard of it, and are lauding Pakistan for the move. In the same vein, they are also demanding that India do the same in the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) incident.
Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu remarked that India should follow suit and do the same, following the arrest in the Nankana case.

JNU Case
Masked assailants wielding batons and iron rods attacked staff and students at New Delhi’s JNU yesterday. According to AFP, an estimated 28 students and teachers were injured.
Later, doctors and nurses from a nearby hospital who went to treat them were also attacked.
The attackers are said to be part of a Bhartiya Janata Party-affiliated student group. With the lack of action in the case, university students organized protests demanding accountability. BJP supporters have dubbed the JNU protests ‘anti-nationalist’.
The Indian state is already facing major nationwide protests against a new citizenship bill, Citizen Amendment Bill (CAB 2019) that critics say is anti-Muslim.
