Bollywood actor Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja, have found themselves at the center of swirling divorce rumors after 37 years of marriage. However, Sunita’s manager has now broken the silence, shutting down all speculation.
Reports had been making rounds in Indian media, linking Govinda to a 30-year-old Marathi actress and fueling whispers of a possible split. However, neither Govinda nor Sunita had publicly addressed the claims—until now.
Sunita’s manager, Saadia Solkar, dismissed the divorce rumors outright, calling them “completely baseless.” She declined to comment further, reinforcing that the couple remains together.
Meanwhile, Govinda, known for his charismatic on-screen presence, also tackled the speculation, choosing to focus on his professional commitments. “There are only business talks going on… I am in the process of starting my films,” he stated, sidestepping direct comments on the separation rumors.
Reports had suggested that Sunita had sent a legal separation notice months ago, but Indian media confirmed that no further legal action had been taken.
Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, acknowledged some tensions between the couple but attributed them to statements made by certain family members. “There is nothing more to it, and we are trying to resolve it,” he assured.
Entertainment journalist Vickey Lalwani reported that while Govinda is eager to mend things, Sunita remains hesitant. However, Govinda’s nephew, Krushna Abhishek, denied any talk of a split, insisting that the couple is not parting ways.
Adding to the intrigue, Sunita had previously admitted in an interview that she and Govinda were living separately due to his demanding work schedule. However, she later clarified that their bond remains unbreakable, saying, “Nobody can separate us.”
