Aaron Paul arrived at the red carpet in a staged car chase followed by a fan meet and greet that lasted two hours.

“I mean this whole thing is it is for our fans. You know, it is really important for me, if we were going to do a big event, to have a big fan screening. That’s why we have two theaters one for our crew, our family, our friends and then one for our fans. And this means a lot, you know, our show would not exist without our fans.”

Bryan Cranston was also seen at the red carpet, making people second guess his role in El Camino. Last we saw, his character Walter White was breathing his last.

We know what you’re thinking here. Is White back? The El Camino cast and crew have remained tight-lipped about the film details.

We’re just hoping it’s a pleasant surprise. Giancarlo Esposito who plays Gustavo ‘Gus’ Fring in Breaking Bad did reveal that the story goes back and forth which explains the return of Heisenberg and Gus.

“It picks up where we left off and ‘Breaking Bad’ and it follows characters backwards or forwards to explain how they got to the beginning of ‘Breaking Bad.’ So, you know, I don’t wanna lead you on, but I’m not telling you anything until it comes out. I know everyone wants spoilers and wants to know,”

A Breaking Bad Movie?

Basically the reason Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan decided to make El Camino now is to provide closure for Jessie’s story. Six years after Season 5, we don’t know what happened to our favorite criminal with a conscience.

“As the years progressed I thought to myself what exactly did happen after he broke through that fence. Maybe he got caught right around the corner by the cops, or maybe he did get away.”

Plus Gilligan himself wanted closure for Aaron Paul’s character.

“I thought to myself, I really want to work with Aaron Paul again. So maybe I could figure out some kind of, some kind of story to tell as a movie. As a more limited and finite story. So that’s kind of what led to all this.”
