BTS Becomes Only Music Act to Earn Two Spots on Billboard’s Top 5 Boxscores Chart

It earned the No. 3 and No. 5 with its Las Vegas and Los Angeles shows.

South Korean boy band BTS became the only music act to land in two of Billboard’s year-end Top 5 Boxscores charts of 2022.

BTS’s four-night shows in Las Vegas and Los Angeles earned them two of the top five spots on Billboard’s year-end Boxscore, a score that sums up all shows an act has played at one venue during a tour, which ranked concerts held between 1 November 2021 and 31 October 2022.

It landed in the No.3 spot with their four Las Vegas concerts earlier this year in April, which sold an impressive total of 199,697 tickets and earned them $35,944,850.

BTS occupied the No. 5 spot as well with four of their Los Angeles concerts during the end of 2021, which earned the group $33,316,345 with 213,751 in ticket sales.

That’s not all as BTS is ranked No. 27 on the Billboard Boxscore’s Top Tours chart despite only performing 11 shows. According to Billboard, the K-Pop group grossed around $75,489,240 for all their promotions, and a total of 458,144 attendees for 11 concerts.

The South Korean continues to win accolades and honors also around the as recently the group’s heartthrob vocalist, Kim Taehyung (aka V), who was dubbed the most ‘handsome and beautiful’ Asian face in the world.

The South Korean boy band is arguably the biggest music act in the world. The K-Pop group continues to grow in popularity even though the band is currently focusing on their solo activities. All seven members of the group will soon be enlisting for South Korea’s mandatory military service soon.
