Candyland’s Owner Vows To ‘Make Chili Mili Juicy Again’ If People Vote for PML-N

Chili Mili

There’s nothing worse than companies ruining your favorite childhood snacks. While Candyland didn’t ‘revamp’ the classic candy jelly ‘Chili Mili’, the quality of the snack has deteriorated.

One Chili Mili fan wasn’t about to let it slide. The Netizen called to attention how the candy jelly is no longer juicy like jellies are supposed to be.

The candy’s distinct sweet, sour, spicy flavor has been muted and texture is drier than ever.

“Hamesha itni sookhi aur mari hui hoti hai [It is always so dry and dead], like eating a Chili Mili dry fruit.”

That’s not all that changed. People pointed out how it smells bad too.

Twittersphere even started a petition to make Chili Mili juicy again.

Because this counts as….

We also discovered that the quality of party packs is still bearable. It’s the small snack portions that are sub-par.

Looks like the message even made it to Candyland Chief, Miftah Ismail. However, he said he’d ensure good quality juicy Chili Milli if we vote for Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N). He does know how customer feedback works, right?

“I will ask them to make Chilli Milli more juicy. But please promise me to vote for PMLN in the next elections.”

You address the issue at hand or lose customers, not worry about voters.

Soon enough Netizens brought up how the quality of Cocomo has suffered too.

“Miftah bhai Cocomo ka bhi kuch karain. 1-2 mein say tou chocolate nikalti hi nahin. [Miftah bhai, do something about Cocomo as well. 1-2 don’t even have chocolate in them].”

Soon enough we were looking at a Cocomo campaign too.

Previously, Twittersphere has brought to attention the dwindling quantity of Cocomo per snack-sized pack.

Will these complaints about Chili Mili pick up enough momentum for the quality of the snack to be restored? Or will we just have to stop buying the candy? Let us know in the comments below.
