Social media sensation, Arshad Khan AKA the famed ‘Chai Wala’ opened up about experiencing the spotlight and his future plans.
A year ago the viral tea vendor from Islamabad revealed that he dreamed of starting his own chain of cafes. A week ago he opened his first cafe in Islamabad. So what does he have planned next?

For now, a new television project that is set to air next year. However, this hasn’t been smooth sailing for him. In his appearance on ARY’s morning show, ‘Good Morning Pakistan’, the viral Chai Wala shared how his father was opposed to him working in the biz.
Even after the initial green light, his father had stopped him from working in the entertainment industry due to a music video his family did not like. However, after much persuasion from other people, his father relented and let him work again. Arshad Khan had been allowed to work with caution after a span of two months.
His fame and fortune did give him more responsibility in the family. Arshad Khan revealed that he married off two of his sisters and brothers with his family’s approval. Of course, this led to questions about his wedding plans.
Arshad Khan just said that he will settle down at a suitable time. So no wedding bells anytime soon.
