Chinese Man Attacks Traffic Police in Karachi [Video]

Here’s what happened.

In a real-life ‘rush-hour moment’, a Chinese man attacked traffic police personnel for stopping him from parking his vehicle in a no-parking zone.

When the traffic policeman stopped the national from parking a vehicle in a no-parking zone outside a superstore near Qayyumabad, the Chinese national beat him up. The Chinese citizen was then arrested and an FIR was registered against him under sections 353, 186 and 337A(I) at the Korangi Industrial Area Police Station.

The FIR was filed on behalf of police constable Amir, who is posted at the Zaman Town traffic police section of the Korangi district. According to the police constable, the Chinese man attacked hem when asked the driver not to park his vehicle in the no-parking area near Imtiaz Supermarket.

The commotion occurred when the Chinese man attacked traffic police, causing a crowd to gather and intervene. They helped the traffic policeman catch the foreigner and handed him over to the police. Police arrived on the scene shortly after being informed through police helpline 15.

The Chinese man was then shifted to the Korangi Industrial Area Police Station. Police have obtained CCTV footage of the situation, which serves as evidence of the incident.

According to Zaman Town traffic police section in-charge, Moin Ahmed Shaikh, the Chinese national runs his private store in the Defence area.

Seen It All Before

This isn’t the first time a Chinese national has gotten out of hand in Pakistan. Nor is it the first incident of Chinese men attack policemen. Previously in April 2018 a similar incident took place.
