Pakistan’s World T20 squad met up with Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad. The young cricket squad looked dapper in traditional shalwar kameez and waistcoat. The charismatic ‘Kaptaan‘ boosted the morale of the squad with another memorable pep talk.
As fans move on from the disappointment of the canceled home series with New Zealand and England, the Pakistani cricket team has its goals set for the upcoming T20 World Cup. PCB has made the official announcement for the national squad that will compete in the ICC event. The squad consist of talented youngsters and some key veteran players who will hopefully bring home the trophy.
Recently, the squad, along with newly appointed PCB Chairman Rameez Raja, made a visit to Prime Minister Imran Khan. The players had a formal meeting with our ‘Kaptaan‘ at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad.
According to sources, the meeting lasted for hours and the morale of the squad was high. Being a cricket legend and a leader, Imran Khan gave an inspirational pep talk to the young players. Meanwhile, Rameez Raja presented new PCB strategy following the no-show of England team as well as a new domestic calendar.
