As in other parts of the world, Pakistan’s Christian community celebrated Christmas on Sunday with enthusiasm and traditional zeal. They marked the birthday of Jesus Christ with various activities such as official gatherings, prayer services, cake-cutting ceremonies, parties, lunches, and dinners.

On Friday, which was the last day of the week, special cake-cutting ceremonies were held at various ministries and departments to share the joy of the festival with Christian staff members and to recognize their contributions. Besides this, churches all over the country help special services and offered prayers for peace, progress, and prosperity in Pakistan, and for safety from natural disasters and diseases.
