As Coronavirus sweeps over Bollywood, Aamir Khan was suspected of being among the latest folks who may have being exposed to the virus. Concerns erupted for Aamir and his family after his house staff tested COVID-19 positive.
On Tuesday, Aamir Khan had tweeted that a few of his household staff members have tested positive for COVID-19. The Thugs of Hindostan actor revealed that his staff had been immediately quarantined and taken away for treatment by the BMC.
“Some of my staff have tested positive. They were immediately quarantined, and BMC officials were very prompt and efficient in taking them to a medical facility. I would like to thank the BMC for taking such good care of them, and for fumigating and sterilizing the entire society.”

Is Aamir Khan and his family ok?
The news immediately led to speculation of Aamir Khan potentially being infected as well. Despite the actor asserting that the rest of his household had tested negative for COVID-19. Aamir has been quarantined at his Mumbai residence with his wife Kiran Rao, and their son Azad Rao Khan. His daughter Ira Khan had joined them during the lockdown.
“The rest of us have all been tested and found negative. Right now I am taking my mother to get her tested. She is the last person in the loop. Please pray that she is negative.”
However, his mother Zeenat Hussain’s test results were delayed.
The fact that Aamir Khan’s mother might be infected with Coronavirus just added to concerns. The Bollywood megastar set everyone at ease when he tweeted that his mother Zeenat Hussain had also tested negative.
