Ehd-e-Wafa

After the ‘over-hyped’ finale of popular drama Mere Pass Tum Ho, Hum TV’s Ehd-e-Wafa is likely to get screened in cinemas all over Pakistan.

Following the footsteps of the blockbuster romantic tragedy drama, Ehd-e-Wafa, too, might wrap up its legacy with a combined episode. Sources reveal that the 26 episode drama will air its final episode after a break of one week.

The ISPR produced drama has been making waves ever since it first aired on Hum TV network. The star studded cast including Ahad Raza Mir, Osman Khalid Butt, Alizeh Shah, Vaneeza Ahmad, Zara Noor Abbas and Wahaj Ali kept the viewers hooked to their screens.

Episode 22, where Saad (played by Ahad Raza Mir) and Dua (played by Alizeh Shah) get married, received a lot of love from the audience. The episode has so far reached 5.6 million views on YouTube and social media is also happy with how things are going.

With four episodes remaining in line, rumor says that the last two episodes will be aired together in cinemas. However, nothing has been confirmed yet.

Even if the team decides to screen it in cinemas, we hope that Ehd-e-Wafa doesn’t meet the fate of Mere Pass Tum Ho. Although Mere Pass Tum Ho earned big at the box office, the public was disappointed at the conclusion, and like always, it gave birth to a gazillion memes.

  1. Assalaam-O-Alaikum.
I think WHY NOT?It is such a wonderful family drama after a long time liked by millions of people in Pakistan and in other countries with a big applause.

  2. Can be seen on the big screen if it is done lavishly and happy ending and not making ahad’s friend shaheed. That will be sorrowful and sad. Thanks.

  3. Yes it should indeed…but also should b in cinemas for international viewers on same day, as it spoils the whole drama for us once its viewed in cinemas in pakistan.
