Veteran Pakistani comedian Amanullah’s daughter has rebuffed rumors of her father’s death saying that he is alive and currently under observation in a private hospital.
The confirmation has come in response to rumors that engulfed social media the other night, suggesting that the legendary comedian and stage artist had passed away.

His elder daughter, Zarghoon Amanullah, said he was brought to the hospital over breathing complaints.
“Abu was facing difficulty in breathing; that is why we brought him to the hospital earlier this week. He is suffering from pneumonia,” she said, adding that contrary to the rumours, her father was alive and under observation.

She requested people to refrain from speculations and pray for his health instead.
