Renowned TV anchor Fatima Sohail has finally broken her silence over the alleged leaked video claiming that she is being punished for speaking up against domestic violence.
Fatima appeared on Dr. Fiza Akbar’s show this weekend. There, she revealed that she had approached the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA)’s Cyber Crime Wing against the video.
“FIA has declared that the girl in the leaked is not me and has started an investigation into the matter.”

Sohail categorically denied involvement in the video saying that she has targeted as part of a vendetta.
She burst into tears while saying that the last few days have been the worst in her life, as she has been facing nasty comments, disrespect, and hatred from people for a sin she never committed.
“I am already fighting on many fronts, and now I am being pushed into such a crisis.”
Lamenting her ex husband’s Mohsin Abbas Haider attitude, Fatima said:
“What hurts me more is that my ex-husband did not speak a word in my favor despite knowing all the truth.”

“He knows I’m not the woman in that video, but he kept mum and did not come in my support. That is not manhood,” she added.
Fatima alleges that maybe she was being targeted because she raised her voice against domestic abuse and violence that she was being made an example of.
“And apparently the message is ‘don’t raise your voice even if your husband kills you, because if you go out you will get such terrible punishment.’”
She also contested people who shared the leaked video and passed abusive comments about her, all without verifying the truth. “Don’t they have their own mothers and sisters at home?”
“I have a six-month-old baby, I have to go out and feed him as he [Mohsin] does not pay a single penny for him.”
