Feroze Khan

After a rough year for films, 2021 seems to be looking up. Even though it’s a short film, we get to see Feroze Khan in a film again with ‘Road Trip‘.

The trailer for the short film has stirred quite some excitement among the public. Road Trip casts Feroze Khan, Ahmed Majeed Agloria, and Waliya Najib in a story about finding your way.

Based on the trailer this film follows three completely different people on an unplanned journey. While spontaneous plans seem hap-hazardous at first, eventually you fall into a rhythm and enjoy the vibe. In the process, you can come a long way from where you started.

“Some journeys are never planned but they unravel on their own, and lead you back home,”

Despite going in blind, you can still find your way in the right direction. Throughout the film, we will see these three strangers grow and become fond of each other on a journey they never planned together.

Directed by Sultan Ghani Afzal, Road Trip release date is set for June 4, 2021.

This is just one of many short films by the same production house. Tall Man Films and Digestive Showtime got together to create an anthology of short films. This mini-series consists of 5 films in total. Road Trip is the last of these five shorts to be released. The first of which was ‘Yorker‘. This was followed by Daughter by Law, 2 Sey 5, and Full Circle.

Earlier independent creator turned actor, Usman Mukhtar delayed the release of his short film, Bench to express solidarity with Palestine. The international award-winning short was supposed to release on May 20, 2021, long after the trailer was released. However, an 11-day siege in Gaza had the Anaa actor decide not to take the spotlight away from the key issue.
