Feroze Khan’s lawyer informed the media that he has been granted custody of his son, Sultan, for five days (22 to 26 December) while his daughter, Fatima, will stay with her mother, Aliza Sultan.
The court also ordered that as long as Sultan stays with Feroze Khan, the actor has to leave his passport and identity card with the court inspector.
For the unversed, the Tich Button actor has been under severe criticism after claims and alleged proof of domestic violence made by his ex-wife, Aliza Sultan, went public last month. His lawyer filed a plea against her for purportedly submitting forged documents as proof of her abuse and thereby misleading the court.
Along with the domestic abuse case, Feroze Khan has child custody and maintenance cases going on simultaneously. His lawyer had also recently stated that he is not financially stable enough to bear these expenses for his children. His lawyer told the media that he is not getting big projects because of the allegations against him and this has compromised his financial situation.
On the contrary, Syeda Aliza Sultan’s lawyer claimed that Feroze Khan and his lawyers are using delaying tactics.
Feroze Khan was also under fire from Shaniera Akram for endangering his Sultan by driving with the boy on his lap. After a savage back-and-forth between the two online, the actor gave in and accepted that he was in the wrong.
