About a year ago, the Dangal superstar Zaira Wasim announced her departure from Bollywood as she struggled to make peace with her religion.
Prior to the release of her movie The Sky Is Pink, Zaira Wasim took to her Instagram and wrote,
“As I stepped my foot in Bollywood, it opened doors of massive popularity for me… but what it also did was to lead me to a path of ignorance, as I silently and unconsciously transitioned out of imaan… While I continued to work in an environment that consistently interferes with my iman, my relationship with my religion was threatened.”

Zaira’s decision to quit Bollywood also invited a lot of criticism from fans and other Bollywood celebrities, however she stood firm on her decision.
She actively posts inspirational quotes and Quranic verses on her social media and motivates others to follow their heart as well.
