Pakistan’s most talked-about couple of Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain are all set to tie the knot in December this year. The news was revealed by model-turned-actor Frieha Altaf, who is a close friend of Yasir Hussain.
During an interview with Momina Sibtain on her YouTube show – Momina’s Mixed Plate – Frieha revealed the news. Frieha also revealed that it was she who came up with the idea of Yasir proposing to Iqra Aziz during the Lux Style Awards.

How Yasir Planned His Proposal to Iqra Aziz
According to her, the idea came up after Yasir shared his wedding plans with her before the show.
“Yasir told me before the awards that he is getting married to Iqra in December 2019 and it was then that I got the idea of a public proposal at the Lux Style Awards.”
She went on to add that the proposal part during the show was pre-planned but neither Iqra Aziz nor anyone else in her team was aware of it.
“It was all for the audience, every word was planned,” Frieha Altaf said.

Frieha Altaf Spills It All
The model-turned-actor gave her reason for doing so. She said she wanted to bring the western concept of public proposals to Pakistan.
“I wanted to bring this western concept of public proposals to Pakistan. The dynamics have changed and celebrities like Urwa Hocane and Farhan Saeed, Ahad Raza Mir and Sajal Aly are openly expressing their love for each other. “
Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain recently got engaged to each other. Ever since then, fans have been wondering about their wedding plans.
