Hamza Ali Abbasi Expresses Grief Over The Hazara Killings

Several notable celebrities condemned the attack on the Shia community.

Actor Hamza Ali Abbasi took to Twitter to mourn the tragic deaths of 11 miners from the Shia Hazara community. Hamza as well as other celebrities expressed their grief over the senseless killing that has shook the entire nation.

On Sunday before dawn, 11 miners were abducted while they slept close to a remote coal mine. The incident took place in the mountainous zone in Baluchistan, 60 kilometers southeast of Quetta. The news came as a shock to the entire nation. Pakistanis nationwide have come together to mourn the loss of 11 miners as people openly condemned such killings.

Hamza Ali Abbasi Says ‘God is Watching Everything’

Several people from different communities took to Twitter to express their outrage at the incident and called out the discriminatory behavior against our Shia community. Many renowned celebrities also expressed their sorrow for the incident including influential actor Hamza Ali Abbasi. The Alif actor wrote,

“The horrifying tragedy inflicted by a few EVIL MEN on the Hazara community is so heartbreaking, that all I can tell myself is to feel some peace [with the knowledge] that GOD IS WATCHING EVERYTHING.”

Other Notable Celebrities Express Their Grief

Renowned model Sara Loren is distraught by this senseless tragedy as well. The model showed solidarity with people of Hazara and condemned the killing.

“Pakistan and Pakistanis first. Who are we to judge really? Why play God?? Heartbroken after reading the news. Standing in solidarity with the beautiful people of Hazara,” the model posted.

Mushk Kaleem Gives Everyone Something To Think About

Another famous model, Mushk Kaleem, gave everyone food for thought. She encouraged people to speak about minority rights and take a closer look at their own backyard.

Since the incident, thousands from the Shia Hazara community have come out to protest the brutal murder of the miners in Baluchistan’s Mach coalfield area.

“We will not end our protest until all the assassins are arrested,” Agha Daud, leader of the Baluchistan Shia Conference told the media.
