Hareem Shah Shares Uncomfortable Clip of Her Being Harassed By a ‘Fan’ [Video]

TikTok star Hareem Shah was mobbed at an event, but that’s not the worst thing that happened to her. Hareem claims that she was inappropriately touched and was made uncomfortable at the aforementioned event.

Disgusted at the experience, the social media star posted about her horrible experience on Twitter.

Hareem tweeted a video of how she was swarmed. She said she was mobbed by hundreds of people at an event and “touched inappropriately” by one of them.

As for the deeply inappropriate behavior Hareem is alluding to, the TikTok video shows how it happened. During the event, a particular ‘fan’ kept stroking her arm. Even when Hareem pushed this offender’s hand away, he did not stop.

The TikTok girl called this person’s behavior beyond shameless.

What are her legal options?

Since Hareem Shah was made uncomfortable and harassed, there is legislation in place for her to pursue legal action. Under the Pakistan Penal Code’s Section 509:

“Insulting the modesty of women or whether through gestures or words, is a crime.”

As for the punishment that this law has prescribed, a sexual harasser can be punished with imprisonment, which may extend to 3 years. It also includes a fine up to PKR 500,000, or both.

Recently the TikTok star, Hareem Shah came under fire for allegedly sharing an explicit video of the cricketer Shaheen Afridi.

The video allegedly shows the national cricketer masturbating on a video call. The screen recording of the call had been shared on a Twitter account in Hareem Shah’s name.

Given the recent cycle of cyber-harassment incidents that targeted celebrities such as Rabi Peerzada and Fatima Sohail, some people lashed out at Hareem Shah. Later Hareem addressed the controversy saying she only had a TikTok account, not a Twitter or Instagram from which she could share her status during that time.
