After the first teaser, we’re getting more insights into Squid Games 2! Guess who else is returning for season 2!
Netflix shared the first teaser which was a glimpse at the ‘Red Light, Green Light’ game from the initial face-offs in season one of Squid Games.

Looks like we’re starting again, but what’s at stake this time aside from human lives.
On the other hand, at the end of the first season, we saw the man behind the curtain AKA our player 01 die from cancer. So who’s running the show?
Additionally, at the end of the season, we see the frontman played by hunk Lee Byng Hun, who apparently killed himself. Or did he? As per a thank you note to the fans from the creator of the web series, Hwang Dong-Hyuk, we’ll see the frontman return.
Another mysterious heartthrob we’ll see returning is the man in the suit, played by Gong Yoo.
Basically the show’s director, writer, and executive producer, Hwang Dong Hyuk thanked fans saying;
“A WHOLE NEW ROUND IS COMING
It took 12 years to bring the first season of “Squid Game” to life last year.
But it took 12 days for “Squid Game” to become the most popular Netflix series ever.As the writer, director, and producer of “Squid Game,” a huge shout out to fans around the world.

He then teased tidbits from the show saying;
“Now, Gi Hun returns.
The Front Man returns.
Season 2 is coming.
The man in the suit with ddakji might be back.”
As well as tease the idea of a new character, Younghee’s boyfriend.
“You’ll also be introduced to Younghee’s boyfriend, Cheolsu.
Join us once more for a whole new round.”

So now that Netflix has officially given the green light to season two of the web series, what else do we know about Squid Games 2 thus far? That’s pretty much it. Now there are just speculations and theories online.
