“As a kid, I would dress up and dance on Bollywood songs. I would watch all the movies so this passion has always been there.”

Iqra wanted to pursue acting but her mother was against it. It was her sister who had to convince her mother to let her follow her passion.
“I went to my mom but she refused saying I was very young and I should focus on my studies. She thought that the field wasn’t good for me either. So then I told my sister about it and she said, ‘If you think you can do this, and if you have the passion and talent then go for it’. She was the one who convinced my mother to let me act.”
