A fire erupted at Sunday Bazaar at Peshawar Mor in Islamabad at around 3:50 am on Tuesday morning. This isn’t the first instance of a fire at the ‘Itwar Bazaar‘ and people are asking authorities to address the root cause.
According to Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Hamza Shafqaat the fire was controlled within one hour.
Alhamdolillah it was controlled within one hour. I have met the affectees and will take appropriate measures to make this Bazar have fool proof arrangements to prevent any such incident in future. https://t.co/1BbDbhphcR pic.twitter.com/plglLhHj97

How much damage?
So far the authorities have not revealed the extent of the damage. Based on the pictures that surfaced nothing but the metal structures of the market place remains.
Some people are pointing at faulting solar panel installations as the culprit to recurring fires at Itwar Bazaar.
This is good, Ever since the shopkeeper started the Solar System, the fire incidents have increased. I am not sure, but I think there is a connection between solar systems, batteries, and charging. Keep it in mind.

A Regular Occurrence
Itwar Bazar is located in Islamabad’s H-9 Sector and the market has faced recurring instances of fires breaking out. Itwar Bazaar is situated next to the Metro Bus Depot and one of it’s Kashmir Highway Terminals.
People have raised concerns about the frequent fires. Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman led Jamiat Ulema Islam’s ‘Azadi March’ is expected to reach the Metro Bus Depot next to Itwar Bazaar on Thursday 31st October.

The location being selected for the gathering of the opposition parties, that is the Itwar Bazaar parking area ground in H-9 Islamabad is completely not in order as it is going to disturb the Metro Bus Operations and cause huge amount of inconvenience to the general public

This is also causing concern for the residents of Islamabad. Which explains the rumors around the Sunday Bazaar fire and JUI-F march being connected.
😭😭😭😭 idk if it’s true or not but someone told me they called a vendor at itwar bazaar who they regularly buy records from who said ke fazlu & co set it on fire. Idk where or how to confirm this, haven’t heard anything else yet. Praying it’s a hoax or something idk 😭😭😭
