TheĀ United Arab Emirates deported someone for celebrating the Christchurch terror attack in New Zealand.

A UAE-based company revealed that one of their employees was fired and deported after he allegedly celebrated the mass killing of Muslims in the New Zealand shooting.

Security company Transguard issued a statement that they fired an employee for celebrating the New Zealand shooting in a Facebook post.

ā€œOver the weekend, a Transguard employee made inflammatory comments on his personal Facebook account celebrating the deplorable mosque attack in Christchurch, New Zealand.ā€

After the company fired the employee, he was deported by the UAE government.

The company’s managing director Greg Ward said that itsĀ policy would not allow the ‘inappropriate use of social media’ to go unnoticed.

ā€œWe have a zero-tolerance policy for the inappropriate use of social media, and as a result this individual was immediately terminated and turned over to the authorities to face justice.ā€

Identity of Man Revealed

Transguard is an Emirates Group brand.Ā An Emirates spokeswoman said the company had nothing to add to the Transguard statement.

The company did not disclose the identity, nationality, and position of the employee in question. They did not disclose the alleged comments either.

However, since the offending employee was first identified over social media, his name and designation is public knowledge.

Rony Singh, who worked as security at the Dubai Airport, made the uncalled-for comments on Facebook. He expressed joy for the lives lost in the terrorist attack. It wasn’t too hard to determine his Indian nationality as well, since he felt those attacks on Muslims were ‘justified’ due to the Pulwama suicide attack against Indian soldiers in Kashmir.

Almost 50 people were killed and many others injured when a right-wing extremist opened fire during Friday prayers at two mosques in Christchurch on Friday. The incident is being called New Zealand’s worst terrorist attack.

A 28-year-old Australian Brenton Tarrant and 3 others were charged with murder on Saturday for carrying out the attack.
