We all know that Pakistani drama serial Ehd-e-Wafa was made in collaboration with Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). This makes for some interesting facts.
Pakistan Army’s media wing produced the ‘teen drama’. Ehd-e-Wafa which cast Ahad Raza Mir, Ahmed Ali Akbar, Wahaj Ali and Osman Khalid Butt in key roles. The serial follows four friends in a cadet college who later move on to different career paths. The show extensively covers the military training of Ahad Raza Mir’s character ‘Saad’.

The drama serial has gained a massive fan following not just in Pakistan but also across the border as well. Partially due to the fact that this serial serves as a sequel to ‘Alpha Bravo Charlie‘.
Backstory and all combined, Ehd-e-Wafa has some interesting origins. Here are some interesting facts about the teen drama.
- Ehd-e-Wafa was listed in the top 10 Google searches in 2019 in Pakistan.
- Saad’s golden retriever Zorro in the serial actually belongs to Military Spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor.
- Ahad Raza Mir almost didn’t play Saad due to his clashing schedule.
- Abdullah Kirmani, who is playing the role of Saad’s father in the drama, is Captain Faraz from Alpha Bravo Charlie (1998). He played Cadet Faraz in Sunehry Din.
- Osama Khalid Butt, who essays Shahzain Allahyar, began his entertainment career as YouTuber.
- Zara Noor Abbas’ vivacious Rani reminds people of ‘Anjali‘ from Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum
- Ehd-e-Wafa is Alizeh Shah’s debut as a leading lady. Previously the TikTok star had only essayed supporting roles.
- Ehd-e-Wafa’s shooting was conducted at Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) during the holiday season of the cadets.
