Pakistani YouTuber, Irfan Junejo decided to speak out on the Kashmir issue, by not talking about his stance on the Indo-Pak conflict.
He recently shared a video titled ‘Dekho Mera Activism‘ in which he makes it clear that he will not be bullied into posting a video about Kashmir.
You can watch it here:
Junejo’s comments come after many Pakistani public figures and celebs were called out on social media for holding their silence on the abrogation of Article 370 by India in the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
You may cancel me if you want to but I will NOT make a video about whatever is happening in Kashmir. NOT because I support the oppressors or I am afraid of losing Indian followers but because I also didn't make a video when Quetta Hazaras were protesting with the dead bodies…

Although Irfan Junejo shared a Twitter thread on his stance of ‘not making a public video‘ about Kashmir, he then went on to make a video on the same issue.
Junejo pointed out the cricket icons Wasim Akram and Shoaib Akhtar didn’t speak out on the issue either, so why are certain people taken to task.
Irfan Junejo Is Not Afraid of Losing Fans
The Pakistani YouTuber stated that the social media influencer community were the ones really bullying him into making a video to address the Kashmir issue.
Junejo is no stranger to making videos on political issues and socio-political issues in the past. Given this experience, he says that it was a mistake since he was ‘unable to sway anyone’s opinion‘.
“I have made the mistake of creating videos on political and religious issues in the past. I’ve read the comments, and not a single person’s opinion changed.”
He maintained that his political views will remain on Twitter and Instagram, but he won’t make a video about it. Irfan Junejo said that ‘he’s not an activist‘ and he never claimed to be.
His comments have certainly got people talking. As #IrfanJunejo trends on Twitter, with many people calling for the YouTuber to be canceled, the YouTuber followed up with another tweet about how he has actually gained more followers as a result.
Cancellation se pehle – 47.4K followers.
After cancellation – 47.9K followers.

On this matter, Waqar Zaka slammed Irfan Junejo as well.
