With all the love that Turkish period drama Ertugrul Ghazi has been getting in Pakistan, most of the cast have voiced their desire to visit us here. Unluckily the COVID-19 pandemic happened, and that hampered the Turkish cast of Dirilis Ertugrul’s plans.
Now, Pakistan has lifted the COVID-19 lockdown, and those rumors have started doing the rounds again. It is important to note that other nations are still deliberating over opening their borders to other countries. Inter-state travel is still prohibited as the world tries to preserve the progress they’ve made containing the outbreak.

Nonetheless, that did not stop people from starting a rumor that Engin Altan, ‘Ertugrul‘ himself, was coming to Pakistan.
According to a Facebook post by the Chief Executive Officer of Blue World City Islamabad, they will be hosting the Turkish actor for an event.
He even posted an image of Engin Altan’s passport.

According to Public News, the actor from the Romantik Komedi franchise is coming for the inauguration ceremony of a mosque designed like Blue Mosque in Turkey.
While his date of arrival is not known yet, word is he’s been granted a multiple visa for Pakistan that is valid for the duration of six months.
Earlier this month there were rumors that the Engin was coming to Pakistan to meet three children on behalf of the ‘Make A Wish’ Foundation. The organization fulfills the last wishes of terminally ill children.
Later the foundation clarified that the children would only be virtually meeting the Turkish actor.
After his co-star Esra Bilgic became the face of many Pakistani brands, is Engin Altan going to take the next step by visiting Pakistan? Fingers crossed.
