Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad star, Mahira Khan, is rumored to be co-starring with Hollywood actor Will Smith in Oscar-winning filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy’s upcoming film, Brilliance.
According to a Twitter source, FilmUpdates, the Pakistani actress is in talks to star in the film that is said to be about rare humans with ‘special gifts’.

Meanwhile, there is no official announcement regarding the Pakistani actress’s casting for the film.
Obaid-Chinoy is working with Paramount Pictures to make an adaption of the famous Marcus Sakey novel, Brilliance.
Smith will be part of the team as the film is being produced by his production company Westbrook Studios.
Based on the novel by Marcus Sakey, the premise of the film is as follows:
If 1% of the world’s children were born with powerful gifts, how would society adapt to them? The Brilliance novel trilogy is set in a future where non-neurotypical people – demonized by society as “twists” or “abnorms” – are threatening the status quo of the “normal” population with their unique gifts.

Meanwhile, Will Smith has had a rough year. He made headlines for slapping comedian Chris Rock at the Oscars before winning the best actor award for King Richard. He is starring in and producing the upcoming film Emancipation these days.
