Pakistan’s star cricketer and heartthrob, Naseem Shah, may soon take up acting as former cricketer and commentator, Waqar Younis, teased fans on social media yesterday.
It looks like the ‘Burewala Express’ is not just a fan of the fiery youngster’s bowling prowess but apparently his acting as well. Younis shared a picture of himself with Shah on Twitter and wrote,

The Pakistani legend’s tweet has gone viral on social media as Twitterati tried to figure out what it could mean. Some netizens are already dreading that the young fast bowler is likely going to star in some random laundry detergent commercial.

Naseem Abbas Shah has become a bit of a celebrity since the Asia Cup 2022 and has been stealing hearts on both sides of the border. He recently made headlines on social media when Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela and Sinf-e-Aahan starlet Yehali Tashiya were found swooning over him for his devastatingly good looks.
The young faster bowler is definitely capitalizing on his charisma and newfound celebrity status as last week he turned heads in a dark grey suit.
Naseem Shah is one of the most exciting prospects in world cricket. The youngster from Lower Dir, Malakand, made his international debut for Pakistan in October 2019 at the age of 16. Since then, he has become one of Pakistan’s premium fast bowlers and has been delivering incredible performances in recent years, reminiscent of a young Wasim Akram.
We all want Naseem Shah to follow in the footsteps of the great Wasim Akram, but that is definitely not what fans would want to see.
