The blame game in veteran actress Saba Faisal’s family has created quite a stir on social media. She had recently released a video message accusing her daughter-in-law, Neha Malik, of negativity and breaking their family apart, and had announced that she would sever ties with her son, Salman Faisal, as well if he stays with her.
She received severe backlash for how she shouldn’t have aired her dirty laundry online.
Saba Faisal recently appeared in a podcast with Nadir Ali and addressed her video. She shared that she regrets how she reacted and she has now deleted her videos.
When the host asked her why she uploaded the video, she replied,
It was a sensitive time for me when I posted that video online. I shouldn’t have done that and I regret it.
The Dil-e-Momin star clarified that she was hurt at that time and reacted impulsively as she has always shared a close relationship with her son.
If I took my son’s name in that video then you have to understand how truly hurt I was. But I understand how we, as adults, should handle such situations with maturity. Perhaps, I didn’t show that maturity for a while and reacted out of impulse. I’ve deleted both videos now because I couldn’t bring myself to see them again.
Talking about her daughter-in-law, Saba Faisal revealed that she had chosen Neha Malik for her son herself because she liked her.
She said, “Alhamdullilah she’s still with my son but you know we can’t change and mold people according to our ways of living and values. That’s why I regret posting the video”.
Wrapping up the conversation, the Raqeeb Se actress added that she does not hold any one person responsible for this fiasco, and both Neha and Salman share equal responsibility for the decisions they take.
