The controversial writer and poet, Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, often lands in hot waters because of his polarizing views about feminism and harsh comments. The Mere Pass Tum Ho writer once again made it to the headlines but all for the right reasons.
An old video of him is currently viral on the internet in which he shared the secret of his successful marriage, and we are amazed by his ideas even though he is notorious for his strict and stern personality.
In the video, the Sadkay Tumhare writer shared that he got married at a very young age and let his wife dominate him.
He went on to say that he forbade his family to reprimand his wife on the next day of the marriage.
Qamar claimed that he told them if she ever misbehaves with them they should inform him and he would deal with her, and added that this rule led her to have an ideal relationship with his family.
Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar is a Pakistani writer, director, Urdu poet, lyricist, and occasional actor who is best known for writing such dramas as Pyarey Afzal, Sadqay Tumhare, and most recently the top-rated Meray Paas Tum Ho, as well as the 2019 ISPR-produced film Kaaf Kangana
He has been in the news for his mean, misogynistic, and controversial comments about women. Despite the backlash he gets, Qamar continues making derogatory remarks about actresses and women that he comes across. He was recently the subject of speculation again when an audio conversation of a married woman whom he was supposedly having an affair with went viral.
