Lafangey was set to be Pakistan’s first horror-comedy and now the film has been rejected by all censor boards.
Director Abdull Khaaliq Khan and producer Tariq Habib Rind created Pakistan’s first horror-comedy in an attempt to bring a new genre to the local cinema. However, those plans seem to have hit a roadblock as censor boards didn’t clear the movie for screening.
Central Board of Film Censors, has unanimously rejected Pakistani Film #Lafangey.
Chairman CBFC Mr. Arshad Muneer says "The film has vulgar and double meaning language, several below the belt words used in conversation.
"This film cannot be allowed in Pakistani cinemas"

Lafangey cast Salman AKA Mani along with Saleem Meraj, Mubeen Gabol, and Sami Khan in central roles. With Nazish Jahangir and Behroze Sabzwari and others in supporting roles. The teaser for the movie is hilarious but is missing the jump scares we look out for in horror films.
Of course, Netizens have opinions about the movie not being cleared by the censor board.
Below the belt and double meaning is only allowed for politicians; not in cinema 😏

Then there were people that were totally indifferent.
1. Not Yet

Others were hopeful the movie will clear the full board review.
