Let’s be honest, “I can get you the moon,” is probably the most overused cliché in every relationship. This phrase has been used time and time again by young couples in a loving relationship. Thanks mainly due to Hollywood and showbiz.

While we all know this is just a metaphor and our loving partners don’t expect us to get them the moon, one ‘Pindi boy’ has set a whole new benchmark for all the helpless romantics.
Meet Sohaib Ahmed, a 23-year-old newlywed from Rawalpindi. Sohaib, as a wedding gift to his wife Madiha, bought one acre of land on the moon! And no, this not a fabricated story as Sohaib has a verified document to prove his ownership.

You might find this surprising, but owning a property on the moon is very practical these days. Sohaib managed to purchase one acre of ‘prime real estate land’ for just $45 via the Lunar Settlement Initiative (LSI). Even Bollywood actors like Shah Rukh Khan and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput own a piece of land on the moon.
