Renowned singer/songwriter Ali Noor has been accused of sexual harassment by a woman named Maha Ali Kazmi.
The allegations surfaced when Kazmi posted a video on her Instagram story, in which she called Ali Noor a sexual predator.
In the video, Kazmi, who is also a singer and is married with a son, narrated her experience with Ali Noor during an audition at Coke Studio. It is to be noted that this isn’t the Noori front-man’s first time facing allegations of sexual harassment.
According to Kazmi, Ali Noor interrupted her during her audition and asked her inappropriate questions. He also allegedly told her that she was not what he envisioned. Kazmi claimed that the next day, Ali Noor invited her and her husband to PC Hotel to psycho-analyze her and advised her to take a lot of drugs.
She also called Ali Noor a sexual predator who takes advantage of young women who come his way. Ali Noor has not yet responded to the allegations made by Maha Ali Kazmi.
This is not the first time that Ali Noor has been accused of sexual harassment. In February 2022, a female journalist named Ayesha Binte Rashid accused him of sexually harassing her. The accusations against Ali Noor have sparked a debate on social media, with many calling for action against him.
The music industry and concerned authorities are expected to take notice of the allegations and investigate the matter further. The incident once again highlights the issue of sexual harassment in the entertainment industry and the need for a safe and supportive working environment for women.
