Bin Roye actress Mahira Khan shared the teaser for her upcoming short film Prince Charming and many actresses in the biz can’t help but shower praise.
The Superstar actress shared the poster and teaser of her upcoming short film Prince Charming also starring Zahid Ahmed.
It was producer Sheheryar who first spilled details about the gripping narrative. Talking about the short film, he said: “She was promised her Prince Charming. She only wants what was promised – is that too much to ask? A look into the morning of Sheherzade, as she splits her time between her husband, her daughter, and her lover,” wrote Sheheryar.

Mahira Khan also shared how the director of the short film really had her tap into her own vulnerability for the role.
“As actors we make ourselves vulnerable to our directors, to the audiences, to the world at large.. but a lot of times we protect ourselves as well, by not fully tapping into memories or thoughts that are too dark for us to handle. I know, I do that many times to protect myself.
Sometimes though, you let your director tap into that vulnerable you. It’s scary but it’s also freeing. Sherry, I surrendered to your vision and I don’t regret it one bit. I am so so proud of you.. as your friend and as your actor.”
Several actresses showered Mahira with love and praise including Saba Qamar, Ayesha Omar, and Sakina Samo.
Meanwhile Ushna Shah and Humaima Malick praised the director.
Co-star Zahid Ahmed also shared a poster of the short film. He described his character Akbar as;
“A man torn between his reality and expectations. In his struggle to be the man he wanted to be, he has become the man Sheherzad never wanted. What has he become? Just another man, or any man or like every man? Or someone else?”
This short film will mark actor Sheheryar Munawar’s directorial debut. The 7 Din Mohabbat In star previously co-produced Ho Mann Jahan starring Mahira Khan and Parey Hut Love starring Maya Ali. Now he’s moved up the ladder to direction.

The director described the plot in an Instagram post saying;
“It’s a story of Shehrezad. A girl who grew up dreaming of a Prince Charming, Promised by the society, loved ones, the books she read and that’s her only wish.”
His directorial debut project will premiere on See Prime on August 6th.
