While the world tries to adjust to the global pandemic brought by the coronavirus, it has not managed to stop injustices happening around the world. Recently, the death of an African-American, George Floyd, by the hands of law enforcement officers has sparked outrage worldwide.
People are expressing their grief and solidarity with the American black community all over social media. Among the well-known public figures speaking out on the injustice faced by the black community, following the murder of George Floyd, is Nobel Laureate Malala Yousafzai.
The renowned Pakistani activist took to social media to voice her support for the black community and condone the injustice against George Floyd. The Nobel Laureate turned to Twitter to extend her support to the community.

Malala is just one of the many people all around the world who are speaking out in support of the African-American community.
The colored community, particularly the black community, has been a subject of racist injustice and mistreatment in America for many years. The recent incident in Minneapolis, Minnesota sparked a nationwide outcry and brought back racial tension in the United States. Floyd, a 46-year-old unarmed African-American male, was at the center of the incident as he died at the hands of a police officer who refused to heed his cries for help.
