Asser Malik and Malala Yousafzai are already offering date-night goals with their recent night out. The couple went to see a theater play and Cinderella couldn’t get more romantic. However, this was really for work.
The Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) grad posted a picture with his wife as the two went to see Andrew Lloyd Webber’s take on ‘Cinderella’. The special rendition of the classic fairytale plays at the Gillian Lynne Theatre, London.
“Truly an amazing experience watching Andrew’s spectacular take on Cinderella. The energy of the actors and the wonderful music and stage designs were just some of the elements of the outstanding performance.”
According to the Times, the theater creator teamed up with the education activist to host a Gala Night for the Malala Education Fund. His play seems fitting for the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate’s initiative as Webber’s Cinderella is an empowered woman.
“Cinderella is about a thoroughly empowered young woman,” said Andrew Lloyd Webber.
On the other hand, the couple had a bit of a fan moment with the artists and creators.
