Malala Yousafzai makes it to Vogue!

The ‘survivor, activist, legend’ sat down for an interview with the magazine and talked about her university life.

“I was excited about literally anything at the university. Going to McDonald’s or playing poker with my friends or going to a talk or an event. I was enjoying each and every moment because I had not seen that much before.”

Moreover, Malala Yousafzai also hinted that she may be interested in a career in politics. She said:

“Politicians promise to build schools, then spend the money on tanks and bombs. Initially you believe what they’re saying and think they will act on it and deliver the goals they have set but with time, I saw that some of them do, and some of them don’t.”

The activist also spoke about her life as an adult and like most 23-year-olds, she often finds herself at a ‘crossroads’ when thinking about her life.

When asked where she sees herself in 10 years’ time, she admits that’s a question she asks herself “every night”.

“I’m sitting in bed, scrolling through my private Instagram, thinking, ‘What am I doing?’ Lying awake in bed for hours thinking, ‘What am I going to do next?'”

But whatever Malala’s next move will be, it’s certain that the world will be watching.
