As we all knew for a while now, Charlie’s Angels is getting a reboot.
And now we’ve got a trailer with the brand new generation of Angels. Charlie’s Angels 2019 trailer is really surprising us with its line-up.
The Cast
Charlie’s Angels cast Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska in the lead roles (yes that’s two Disney princesses and a potential third).
Will these ladies be able to beat the benchmark set by Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, and Lucy Liu, all of whom were badass babes during their time.
Plus they have a beautiful blonde manager Bosley (Elizabeth Banks). You may know Banks as Effie from Hunger Games. The film is also being co-written and directed by her.
It’s also being produced under the banner of her production company Brownstone Productions.

Plot
Based on the trailer, we have two full-blown Angels Kristen Stewart’s Sabina and Ella Balinska’s Jane. Both work for Townsend’s private detective agency.
Townsend runs International operations with multiple teams of Angels and Bosleys.
“We exist because the traditional law enforcement can’t keep up.”
In walks a bumbling Naomi Scott who the Angels were protecting as part of a mission. Pretty soon she ends up completing the team. We then have three Angels trying to prevent a new technology from being weaponized.
Along the way, they throw in a handsome nerd Noah Centineo (this turned into a teen fantasy real fast).

The Music!
The title track by Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, and Lana Del Rey really gets the mood going. People already knew ‘bad-girl’ Cyrus, and pop diva Grande would be making a single for the movie.

Rumor has it that Ariana will be co-producing the soundtrack for the film. Previously A-list artists like Justin Timberlake and Lorde have curated albums for film soundtracks.
