We recently found out that Pakistan Television Corporation will be airing Dirilis Ertugrul in Urdu. So who will be the voices behind some of our favorite characters?
We already knew that PTV was casting voice artists for the job. Looks like PTV’s senior artist Anjum Habibi, Diya Rahman and a few others made the list.
Recently the voice-over artists and radio jockey posted pictures in the studio dubbing the Turkish period drama in Urdu. Since PTV acquired the broadcast rights of the drama from the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT), it’s only fitting Radio Pakistan gets to do the dubbing.

Pakistani state radio still creates and broadcasts audio dramas via radio to this day. They have the necessary practice and artists and hand for the task.
So who’s voicing who? Turns out Diya Rahman will be voicing the character of Hymana.

As for the rest of the cast, we know they have Anjum Habibi on board, a veteran actor and voice actor. He was last seen in Heer Maan Ja and currently plays Sheharyar’s father in Ehd-e-Wafa.
There were some reservations. Dirilis Ertugrul already has a huge fanbase in Pakistan. Like any fanbase, they’re not putting up with any shortcomings or deflection from the original.
