Mehwish Hayat slammed the recently re-elected Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi over being petty. Modi has not invited Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan for his swearing-in ceremony.

The occasion was made even more special by the participation of esteemed world leaders. I thank them for being a part of today’s programme. pic.twitter.com/5EA5SBiizp

Mehwish Is Not Amused
Mehwish Hayat expressed her displeasure with this decision. She slammed Modi for not inviting the Pakistani Prime Minister at the swearing-in ceremony.
The Tamgha-e-Imtiaz holder recently tweeted about this incident:
This sort of news depresses me. These are the occasions when our neighbours could have reciprocated our PM Imran Khan’s peaceful overtures & extended the hand of friendship. Too much history between us I know but would have been a start. #givepeaceachancehttps://t.co/6OAG73DZ1j
