The new teaser for Wajahat Rauf’s Chhalawa is out and we’re already trying to put the pieces together.
After the first behind-the-scenes teaser which introduced the characters, we knew that Chhalawa was going to be a family film.
The first poster film had us confused, making many of us wonder if this was another run-away bride film? The new teaser has changed that, and we can’t wait to see how it all connects..
Now we know its’ a wedding film (but please no runaway bride), and as usual, things don’t end up so great for our characters who are just trying to fall in love and get married.

Chhawala Teaser Details
Asad Siddiqui goes to jail (for God knows what reason), and we see both Mehwish Hayat and Zara Noor Abbas crying. From the looks of things, it seems Azfar Rehman may play a runaway groom here.
But then the teaser throws us a curve-ball. Instead of just one runaway groom, there may be two.
Guess we’ll just have to see the movie to figure what’s going on here.
A Bonanza of Pakistani Films in 2019
Pakistan has a whole line-up of films for 2019. While some of them have already hit theaters, others are in the pipeline and scheduled for release later this year.
Most big releases are expected on the two Eids. Eid-ul-Fitr definitely seems crowded with three film releases.
The most anticipated film of the year is undoubtedly The Legend of Maula Jutt. Comedy-dramas Chhalawa and Wrong No. 2 are also intent on giving the classic reboot some competition.
